Beautiful the place and the tour, from the first moment we were made to feel very comfortable. We went as a family. The guide (Maru) very kindly guided us in relation to the place and knew about the wines we tasted. The food was delicious and the boat ride was beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Firstly, don’t waste your time, like I did, analysing all the numerous, different company, price offerings to tour the Douro Valley. If it’s cheap, it’s cheap for a reason! You get what you pay for!

I recently went on the wine tour in the Douro Valley and it was an unforgettable experience. The tour started in the charming town of Amarante. From there, we visited two different wineries and tried a total of six different wines. One of the highlights of the tour was the lunch at the second winery. The food was exceptional and the wine pairing was spot on. We got to taste some of the local specialties and it was a real treat to try the dishes that were perfectly paired with the wines. The tour was well-organized and our guides were fantastic. It was a truly immersive experience that left me with a newfound appreciation for Portuguese wine and culture.
