Planning a trip to Porto? Let's talk about porto food & drink. Street stalls serve quick bites for pocket change, while rooftop restaurants turn local flavours into small‑plate art. Evening food tours weave through markets and explain what’s sizzling so you can order confidently next time. Vegan or gluten‑free? Most vendors will tweak dishes if you ask. Plan the basics, then let curiosity lead the way. Remember to carry a reusable water bottle and keep an eye on the local weather forecast so you’re never caught off guard. The tour was pleasant, has the right duration, and is well worth spending an hour learning a bit more about the production of Port wine.
It was quite fast but alright, the museum is short but interesting and there were two kinds of porto wine, and other tasting with three wines, they are really strong flavored so be ready and have some food before!
We learned a lot. The guide was extraordinary
The tasting and explanation was great. The only thing we missed was something to go with the port. We know there are tastings and I'm sure they are the best. But port without food, no matter how little, for some people it can be difficult to go back to the hotel.
By buying tickets in advance we skipped the line. The tour was informative and the port wine was delicious! Highly recommend.
It was a good visit, kind of standard one, not any big differentiator from another cellar. There was an important issue with the guide, since group was very big and she had no loudspeaker so we could not clearly hear her explanations on some of the stops, unless you were close to where she was standing
Very good, despite arriving a little late. The visit and tasting were enjoyable

The wineries were not that good as I expected. And it was more travel than anything real.
Places we visited were great with friendly staff. Views while in the bus are amazing and Living Tours staff are very friendly
End of the trip was the best thing (restaurant & winery), rest of it was on the road and first wine tasting was too little. Also the small town is nice at the beginning but needs to be a bit of more time than 40 minutes. Tour guide Mariana was amazing.
We highly recommend you do the wine tour to the Douro Valley... it was well organized, very informative and educational. We enjoyed the lunch served and wine tasting experience. Our guide Sergio was the best! He took care of everyone and made sure we were all comfortable. Thank you, Sergio
Duoro geographically is an interesting place. The Moscotel vineyard gave fascinating insights into that type of wine production. Generous lunch with wine lovely place Second vineyard again interesting but suffered from too many groups and echoing cellars so not able to hear all the information. Boat trip pleasant end to visit
The timings of the tour was changed to 7:30 from 8:10, but I didn't receive the information. And it's been 4 days now and I still haven't received the refund. Extremely frustrating experience.
Nothing. Because , due to your invalid system my expected and booked trip, 10-10-24 was still set at the 8th. One of your people or livimgtours armitted to me: yes, this is failure because of your systems. Nevertheless: 0 refunds! Very disappointed! This is not to treat customers. It feels like stealing money. 0 points.
Very little.
Great experience, the scenery is stunning, the Quinta where we had the first tasting and lunch is a very pleasant place (lunch was simple and decent, not exceptional), the second one has an incredible setting and the river cruise is a must. The van is modern and comfortable. The group size is quite large (around 25), a more intimate experience would have been better suited to our personal preferences and our guide Antonio was nice and professional albeit a little impersonal. Overall not far from a 5/5 and I would recommend this experience.
Muy buena elección , un tour con muchas actividades incluida
THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. WE BOOOKED A GUIDED TOUR IN THE DOURO VALLEY: 2 VINYARDS + DOURO CRUISE WERE INCLUDED. EVERYONE WAS REALLY WELCOMING AND WILLING TO EXPLAIN. A BIG THANK TO MARGARIDA OF LIVING TOUR, SHE WAS REALLY LOVELY
Nice experience, well managed and executed. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Comfortable bus, good food and tastings. Would have liked to taste Douro wines, not just Ports.
The first port wine-tasting, and the incredible scenery

Fabulous place to know about a life of grapes. How fascinating the story telling to explain the beauty and hardship to turn the beautiful berries into something so elegant and classy.
The wine tasting was good. Expectation management was an issue. Explaining that is mostly a history museum experience rather than wine tasting experience. It is a beautiful venue.
The World of Wine in Porto is a must for those who love wine. The place tells the whole history and process about it in a very entertaining way. It worth to dedicate at least 2-3 hours to see everything!
Very well curated wine museum tour. Also loved the wine tasting.
Beautifully presented, fun tasting session Would've loved and bought a book of all the info contained in the exhibition

Conducted the tour at own pace, so did not feel rushed .
The cellar was closed for lunch when we arrived without any notice on their doors of when their lunch break would end. It did not state anywhere on their website about this closure nor anywhere else. Therefore we had to go back again in the late afternoon and one of guests from our party could no longer attend because she had to leave from the trip. This meant we had a ticket that was unused. Once we arrived we asked the reception for a reimbursement as it's not stated anywhere that they have a pause during the day. They said to contact head out about this to get a reimbursement. Please let me know how to proceed. It's unacceptable to market and communicate that a service is available all day only to find it closed without any notice as to when it will open. Please understand this was 14:00 with no signs of reopening.

It was super interesting and well organized. In German it would be called,,, cream on the cake,,. A great experience
The booking was easy on the website. The tour was interesting given by a very informative and friendly guide. The tasting included a good selection of ports and we were allowed time to enjoy it and didn't feel rushed.
I waited at the meeting point, but No one came to pick me up. I then went to Graham's ticket office. I got my ticket there. Graham gave a great tour, but I almost missed the experience due to the lack of a local guide.
I booked the tour in Spanish and there was no possibility but only in English.
Good guide, good tasting . Interesting to know how the Port is made
