En meget hyggelig aktivitet med et kort stop, der giver mulighed for et hurtigt besøg i byen Amarante. Besøget hos portvinproducenten var godt forberedt og efterfulgt af en hyggelig tur på Douro-floden. Derefter var der middag og endnu et besøg på en lidt mere rustik vingård. Meget hyggeligt. En særlig tak til vores guide Christian, der er en fremragende guide med masser af humor!

Smukt sted, og personalet fik os til at føle os meget godt tilpas fra første øjeblik. Vi tog af sted som en familie. Guiden (Maru) var meget venlig og orienterede os om stedet og kendte til de vine, vi smagte. Maden var lækker, og bådturen var smuk. Jeg kan varmt anbefale det.

I recently went on the wine tour in the Douro Valley and it was an unforgettable experience. The tour started in the charming town of Amarante. From there, we visited two different wineries and tried a total of six different wines. One of the highlights of the tour was the lunch at the second winery. The food was exceptional and the wine pairing was spot on. We got to taste some of the local specialties and it was a real treat to try the dishes that were perfectly paired with the wines. The tour was well-organized and our guides were fantastic. It was a truly immersive experience that left me with a newfound appreciation for Portuguese wine and culture.

As someone who doesn't know much about wine, I found this tour to be really educational and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
